8Real Good Chicken Breasts skinless and boneless
½ tspsalt
¼ tspground black pepper
8slices swiss cheese
4slices gruyére
4slices cooked ham
1 cupfresh bread crumbs with salt and pepper
½ cupflour
Here is an fabulous recipe for Chicken Cordon Bleu.
  • Step 01

    Preheat oven to 350º F (175º C). Coat a 7″x11″ baking dish.
  • Step 02

    Pound chicken breasts to ¼ inch thickness.
  • Step 03

    Sprinkle each piece of chicken on both sides with salt and pepper. Place ½ a slice of Emmenthal and ½ a slice of Gruyere and 1 slice of ham on top of each breast.
  • Step 04

    Top this up with another slice of chicken breast. Pat gently and secure the edges with the back of the knife or using toothpicks. Keep in a refrigator for fifteen minutes.
  • Step 05

    Dust evenly with seasoned flour, dip in egg wash and coat uniformly with bread crumbs. Pan-fry in hot butter or place in a baking dish and bake for 40 minutes at 180° C.
