|8||Real Good Chicken Breasts skinless and boneless|
|¼ tsp||ground black pepper|
|8||slices swiss cheese|
|4||slices cooked ham|
|1 cup||fresh bread crumbs with salt and pepper|
Step 01Preheat oven to 350º F (175º C). Coat a 7″x11″ baking dish.
Step 02Pound chicken breasts to ¼ inch thickness.
Step 03Sprinkle each piece of chicken on both sides with salt and pepper. Place ½ a slice of Emmenthal and ½ a slice of Gruyere and 1 slice of ham on top of each breast.
Step 04Top this up with another slice of chicken breast. Pat gently and secure the edges with the back of the knife or using toothpicks. Keep in a refrigator for fifteen minutes.
Step 05Dust evenly with seasoned flour, dip in egg wash and coat uniformly with bread crumbs. Pan-fry in hot butter or place in a baking dish and bake for 40 minutes at 180° C.
