Ingredients

Ingredients for Kofta
½ kgReal Good Chicken Mince
15 gmroasted gram flour (chana atta)
½ tspjeera powder
A pinchshahjeera powder
A pinchasafoetida (hing)
5 gmred chilly powder.
20 mlmustard oil
5 gmfennel powder (saunf)
As requiredsalt
For the Stuffing
60-70 gmdried plums (Aloo Bukhara)
For the Curry
50 mlpure ghee
10 gmred chilly powder
1 ltrchicken stock
2-3cloves
3green cardamom (choti elaichi)
2black cardamom
1bay leaf (tej patta)
2 gmshahjeera
5 gmturmeric powder
5-7 gmfennel powder (saunf)
3 gmcinnamon powder
500 gmtomatoes for purée
100 mlcream
½ tspsugar
Here is an exciting recipe for Chui Mui Kofte.
  • Step 01

    For the kofta, combine all the ingredients, mix well and divide into 8-10 portions.
  • Step 02

    Place one dried plum in the center of each portion. Shape into balls/ roundels and keep aside.
  • Step 03

    Heat ghee in a kadhai, add cloves, green and black cardamom, bay leaf and shahjeera.
  • Step 04

    Add tomato purée, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Step 05

    Add chilly powder and cook for a few minutes.
  • Step 06

    Mix in remaining spices and add stock and allow it to boil.
  • Step 07

    Add chicken koftas. Simmer. And cook for 15-20 minutes till the curry thickens.
  • Step 08

    Add cream, check for salt and add sugar. Remove into a serving dish and serve hot.
